HES Library Learning Commons is open for all our students and our families.

 

What happens in our HES LLC? 

 

WE READ!

 

And…

 

We read books together with every class every week.

 

We ask questions.  Our mascot is CURIO, a curious owl.  He encourages our students to think and to ask. 

 

We lend books to our students every week. Our LLC is open at recess and at lunch.  

 

We have clubs to read together in Spanish and Libros and Lunch for read alouds while eating lunch

 

We have Legos, puzzles, drawing, arts and crafts projects, and bananagram and other games.

  

And, we often host meetings in the LLC.

 

RALs (READ A LOUDS) are posted on our LLC Google classroom and on our YouTube.

Leemos libros juntos con cada clase cada semana.

 

Nosotros preguntamos. Nuestra mascota es CURIO, un búho con muchas preguntas.  El anima mucho a nuestros estudiantes a pensar y a preguntar.

 

Cada semana prestamos libros a nuestros estudiantes. Nuestra LLC está abierta durante el recreo y durante el almuerzo.

 

Tenemos clubes.  Por ejemplo:  Libros Club para leer juntos en Español lectura en voz alta durante el almuerzo.

 

Tenemos Legos, rompecabezas, artesanias, dibujos, bananagram y otros juegos.

 

Y hay muchos reuniones que  albergamos en nuestra LLC.

 

Lecturas en voz alta están ubicado en nuestro HES LLC Google Classroom y YouTube.
